Former New Orleans EMS driver targets Trump supporters in FB post: 'Ya'll will die in my ambulance'

 

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU) - (11/12/18) A scathing social media post of hate, written by a former emergency medical services driver in New Orleans, is drawing a sharp rebuke from City Hall. "This is upsetting, as the medical director -- I'm completely disturbed," said New Orleans EMS Director Dr. Emily Nichols. The Facebook post centers on President Donald Trump, and the person writing it makes a threat that if anyone in his ambulance claims to be a Trump supporter, he'll let them die. Leaders at New Orleans EMS were quick to point out that that person making the post has not been employed since June of this year. They said a cease and desist letter has been sent to him in an effort to make sure it doesn't happen again. Read more here
A former New Orleans EMS driver is the center of today's news as he threatens to kill anyone who is a Trump supporter who will be riding his ambulance. This is according to his Facebook post. It reached a lot of people, including New Orleans EMS Director - Dr. Emily Nichols. It was found out that the guy who posted this statement has not been employed since June of this year. However, they have already sent this individual a cease and desist letter to ensure that this will not happen again. The man's identity remains to be unknown and WDSU will keep it private for now. Dr. Nichols said that the statement was disturbing and does not portray the compassionate care they want all their patients to receive. The former employee is believed to be already employed in Rhode Island.
